Prominent light source is carefully arranged to focus on some objects like artwork, paintings or certain construction structures detail. The main goal is to achieve the artistic effect. Focus illumination make use of not too bright light sources like candle or wall hanging lamp. Track lighting and portable type lighting can also be used.

Certain gathering areas, for example the living room, needs to have a kind of friendliness atmosphere, which is best achieved by selecting traditional dome light or hanging lamp. In particular, the kitchen, study room and bathroom demand a high level of importance in illumination usage. Installation of lighting source into the interior of storage cabinet to illuminate tableware, glassware or other decorative can create an atmosphere which is esthetically pleasing. Bathroom illumination design may be bold, bright and more enriching. On the other hand, a good lighting system is most important for the study room.
